Monica A. Sautter

Monica, who has been with the firm since 1994, worked briefly for the Internal Revenue Service and a small private practice in Los Gatos, where she was raised in "a large Irish family of two brothers and three sisters. Life was never dull."

The not-for-profit and construction industries rely on Monica's accounting, audit and tax services. "When we're out in the field, we often come up against some negativity — the word 'auditor' scares people sometimes — until someone explains that we've worked for the business before and have actually helped it succeed. It gives me great personal satisfaction when we walk out the door knowing we've done a good job, our clients' minds are at ease and they can relax knowing that everything is in order, as it should be."

Monica, who holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University, says that working part-time at Bowman "gives me the opportunity and flexibility to meet the needs of my family while allowing me the personal satisfaction of having a career."

Off The Record: "I am a blessed woman," Monica says, "happily married [since 1985], happily employed and with two wonderful teenage sons, Rogan and Keegan. Life is good!"
