Gary R. Daniel, CPA

Gary's fondness for agriculture and its related industries heavily influences his work. He serves agriculture, real estate, and a variety of closely-held businesses as well as doctors and other professionals. Gary's areas of emphasis are tax planning and compliance. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a master's degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University and also earned a Certified Financial Planning degree.

Gary joined Bowman in 1983 and fulfilled an earlier personal ambition years later. "Ever since I was young I wanted to live in the country and own a vineyard" he says. Today, he and his wife Liz, who teaches fourth grade, live in a house surrounded by vineyards in Lodi and own three bed-and-breakfast cottages there called Cottages on Armstrong. The Daniels have three grown children.

Gary says that the most rewarding aspects of his work are "helping our clients prosper, planning and managing tax results and developing our professional staff."

Affiliations: Gary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California CPA Society. His other associations include the San Joaquin County Farm Bureau, Kiwanis of Greater Lodi, and the Stockton Builders Exchange.
